Contest #1
VIDEO VALENTINE
The legal stuff you need to pay attention to if you want to try and win!Rule #1: Love is grand, but creativity counts.
Everyone loves a love story but we want to see the WOW in yours! Don't just tell your story?reenact the event! How about mime with subtitles like an old-time movie or write and perform a song or poem? Nothing is too wacky or far fetched when it comes to love! Are you an artist? Paint your love story on canvas. Are you a chef? Create a romantic message in food! Tell your story any way you just make it from the heart and be creative!
Rule #2 Make Your Own Kind of Music!
Music that?s been copyrighted can't be used in your video. If you don't own the rights to the song (and most of us don't) then don't use it! But love always has its own beat so once again, be creative! Try adding a romantic serenade with a kazoo! Maybe pull out the old tuba from band and play a love song from the heart. Are you a maestro on water glasses with spoons? This could be your moment in the sun! You can do it! Play on lover just don?t use copyrighted music.
Rule #3 Timing is everything and it?s all in the K.I.S.S!
No we don?t miss that kind of kissing, we mean Keep It Super Short (KISS) when it comes to making your video. Your submission should be 2 minutes or less! After all, it only takes a moment to fall in love and we?re giving you nearly 2 minutes so that should be more than enough!

Have a backup band play a march! This is your moment to shine! You only get to propose once so everything from your clothes to where you are in your video will be important.
