Trip package includes roundtrip coach-class air transportation for two (2) from a major airport near winner’s home (determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion) to New York City; four (4) days and three (3) night accommodations at a hotel determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion (single room, double occupancy); opportunity to meet Bettye Meuller and design a shoe that will be featured on Piperlime’s site during the 2008 Spring Season; roundtrip transportation between hotel and the Manhattan design studio; and $500 spending money. Shoe design will be limited based upon the design materials available at the Manhattan Design Studio. Winner shall have no rights in the shoe design he/she creates and shall not receive any compensation for sales of the shoe or the design. Bettye Meuller is available October 1-4, 2007 and October 8-9, 2007 and Winner must travel between September 29, 2007 and October 10, 2007 or prize will be forfeited.
Contest entries will be judged by a panel of qualified judges (the “Judges”) based upon the following criteria (the “Judging Criteria”): (50%) creativity of your essay and (50%) passion for shoes evidenced by your essay. In order to qualify, all 3 questions must be answered.
Open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States, at least eighteen (18) years of age and the age of majority in their state of residence. The Contest runs between 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) on July 24, 2007 and 11:59 pm ET on August 14, 2007.
